Of course anybody can go to hell… if they do not meet God’s requirement for salvation. John 3:16 lists the main requirement for eternal life ‘that whosoever belives in Him- Jesus’. Did Pastor Bimbo believe in Jesus? If the answer is yes, then I care less what whoever said they saw.
I respect Baba Obadare a lot, I grew up in Akure where he lives, but nonetheless if what He said does not line up with what is clearly written in scriptures, I beg to differ from it.

It is important to know whose report to believe. Im my opinion, it is the biblical report that is final. Let us continue with the realisation that we are pilgrims on earth and that we have been called to fulfil purpose here.Know your purpose and fulfil it by His grace. Do not doubt your salvation, be assured and let no one judge you..what you eat,drink,wear(I speak with understanding as a man).

If God gave the visioner a vision and a message, let him deliver it. If the message or vision is meant for the receiver, he/she will receive it. The holy spirit will also convince same.

If the holy spirit tells you to stop wearing mini skirt and stuff or you know it is wrong then stop. If he tells you it is okay, who should judge or condemn you? For me , the bottomline is have the holy spirit and listen to what he tells you.By their works we shall know them…..do you know Pastor Bimbo’s work? I know her evangelical works and those abide even now.God knows where she is and God is the best judge of our works.May the lord direct us and lead us aright.

So lets leave the dead and where they are and concentrate on preparing the living for where they should go…heaven.

Just like you, I have met the two ministers of God, but i have been in CAC OLOTO, EBUTEMETA, LAGOS for over 6yrs. I put it to you that we should check the source of that story… it’s definitely not coming from GOD and BABA OBADARE.

I ve taken time to read the story over- its contradictory. Note that Obadare didnot break up from CAC. Its still CAC WOSEM, Just like the anointing service of kalejaiye is to REDEEM.

WOSEM- is all about EAGERNESS OF GOD TO WIN SOULS, “and not to lose souls”.

The origin of this whole story is not from BABA. The devil is at it again strategically fighting the church in Nigeria and no one is seeing it that way.

God will expose and disgrace all those satanic agents working to plant seeds of discord in the church and also give good health to Baba to evangelise more at the latter period of his stay on earth.

Let us never be unnecessarily biased especially over sensitive issues like this concerning God and beliefs. As for me, anybody who falls short the standard of God whether openly or secretly on this earth will enter the hell fire. Be it worker, student, Imam, Pastor, President, just anyone. As someone said, we better forget those gone and concentrate on saving ourselves and the living. God help us.

The summary of the whole gist is for whoever identifies with Jesus Christ should examine his or her ways if he or she is still in the Lord cos it is written that whoever THINKS that he stands should take heed lest he falls.Brethrens it is injury time and the time is rather short to be debating who and who is in hell and not in hell. Every mans work shall be tested with fire and when your work and mine are tested what shall the result be? Life is a market place which every one has come and must return bark one someday.So,let not see this world as if there is no tomorrow and we are just on our own.Let’s leave our life according to the word of God and forget about what people says.People’s opinion does not matter as far as one in walking in line with the word of God.Therefore,on the vision of Baba,let’s not take it for granted.He was the only person that was there with his God and if any body has anything to ague about,let the person ask God to kill him so that he can go to heaven or hell fire.Then ,if there is any grace to come back and tell the story of who and who are in heaven or hell.
Lastly,any one the said because of what Baba said made him or her drew back from serving God,is not a serious christian.Paul said and i quote”What shall separate me from the love of God?”Absolutely,nothing.Christianity is apersonal race .When i read the paper at Oshodi bus stop,i was touched and made up my mind to take God serious.We shall not abuse the grace of God upon our lives.

I do like to affirm here that this is a very sensitive matter and as such we (humans) can be emotional about it. Having read your analysis I submit that it is God who has the final say over us all.

Pastor, do u remember the scripture Luke 16:19-31 “19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Which was by Jesus our saviour himself, and if we put this story in parallel with what you pasted here I see little or no difference.

Based on your analysis sir, I would say first that baba is experienced in the things of God and cant misplace trance for death! Yet we may need to hear from the Doctor who confirmed him dead! So its not everybody that will die instantly and end it all some may have second chance like Lazarus whom Jesus loved in the bible and might seen heaven before they come back! Yeah you remembered John writter of Revelation He was as good as dead until he came back to write those words so it could be a trance or in death what does it matter , I doubt if baba would fake that to get audience, he already has the platform!

2ndly, You made reference to the issue of Mansion, I know Jesus is gone to heaven to prepare a place for the Christian so it is written in the bible, it is a reward system, do my will on earth join me in Heaven! so what’s wrong in in doing right because of the reward! And Pastor if there are no reward systems you will tell me you will still serve God but remembered what Paul said If i dont have any hope of heaven he is of all men most miserable! And Pastor I know it is posible spiritually for you to be at the gate and see what is inside the gate (we are talking about spirit at that point not flesh)!

At least that was fair the story didnt just start by saying Pastor Bimbo bla bla bla…. but d story told us fisrt abt the person who it claimed saw the vission. i therefore think it will be erroneous for the likes of baba to first castigate himself before making his point and who was he scared of to start that way.

As per his role in C.A.C I would prefer to remain silent about that because i was in that church then (C.A.C. Revival Center which was pastored by another major pastor who was spear heading the talk then Pastor E.H.L. Olusheye in Akure). So whateever might have been his role in that at least according to visison he must be here to fix it!

Well the sin of disobedience can take anybody to hell remenber Moses he struck the Rock hard and called the israelites stiff necked people and see what the devil came to do – claimed his body ! If NOT FOR GOD THAT ALLOWED IT TO BE WRITTEN THAT THE ANGEL OF GOD CLAIMED BACK HIS BODY ANY BIBLE SCHOLAR WILL CONCLUDE THAT MOSES WENT TO HELL! SO IF GOD HAD EARLIER WARNED PASTOR MRS BIMBO ODUKOYA ABOUT THE MATTER AS REFERED THEN GOD WILL DECIDED WAT TO DO WITH HER ! And if that is obtainable then it is a 50-50 chance issue so u cant just conclude that way because we ve seen this happened in the bible!

Judahs Ischariot went to hell ultimately because he did not Give his life to Christ but He was with Christ! And dressed like him so? Pastor Bukky I think this also should be reconsidered but am only doing my analysis in light of the scripture!

As per the issue of save yourself I also read this statement in the bible Acts 2:40 “And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation”

So its okay to say save yourself afterall i see this in the bible and it does not mean that you are the one who will go die on the cross for your own sins again, but that you should repent! so let the bible define its terms pastor!

So therefore let him that thinketh he stand take heed least he falls. Pastor Bimbo is through with her service onto the Lord and awaits God’s final instruction so why can we that remains work out our salvation with fear and trembling!

I do not think God will want commotion in His kingdom and therefore this can only be taken as a C- caution in the christiandom because , is that devil wants to sweeps away all the followers of christ through late pastor bimbo or wants to discredit pastor Obadare’s followers ? because none of these two followers are free, they both have their share of the cake.

So lets take heed and be careful we are in the perilious times.

AS for me I ll pray that God will help us (that are still alive) to live according to his words!

well, The story may be true or not, i know one day the truth shall be known. is either Baba reacts or pastor Odukaoya, i mean her husband reacts to the issue. one thing though, if her husband has not reacted to the issue all this while, it might be true. because i expect him to have found out the source of the information if he has not received any message from baba has claimed in the passage and reacted to the rumor. but whatever hell is real and heaven is real. This will make me comment on the admin claim that he knows the 2 personally, you can only know their activities, you can not know what they do in secret. There will be supprises in heaven so stop defending anybody just make your way right with God.
And concerning what we wear as christians we need to be careful, Bible says let your moderacy be known to all men. This days you see ladies who open half of their breast even as leader in house of God claim born again. Well i’m not supprised becos it’s been written that many would be deceived at the end of time. May God help us

When I read the story of the revelation of prophet Obadare, I was very sad within me. This is because I know have watched and listened to pastor Bimbo over and over again in the television. She was among the ministers on T.V, I chose to watch and listen to. When I read those words ‘this is where I am o, they say it is because of my dressing, my mini skirts, my hairdos and my lifestyle, that is what has landed me here o, please if you can go back and tell my people, please tell them to save themselves o!’ It was like I could feel her talking again.
I cast my mind to the words of the Bible that says ‘if the righteous scarcely be saved where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 1 Peter 4:18.
Be it known to all, that friendship with the world(even in appearance) is enmity with God. James 4:4
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

I just found your site today and was impressed by the clarity of your points. You see, this is most likely an old trick. It falls in the same class as those stories of ‘New Born Baby With Writing in His Palm Saying Jesus is Coming Back’, and all other lies of those who amuse themselves by measuring Christian’s gullibility. These days, it is very easy to pitch christians against each other by just cooking up a stupid story of a supposed misdeed by a servant of God, or misrepresentation of a so-called vision. I AM SURE THIS IS A LIE. Those who peddle this take advantage of today’s Christians (unfortunate) natural gullibility. Christians should try to find out the truth behind such claims before getting involved in needless discourse. Did Obadare really die, or was he even sick? I am sure the old man is not even aware of all these arguments. Well, I did not give it a thought until I began to see all these mudslinging as commentators were up in arms to defend their opinions of a nonexistence issue. But you are doing a good job. recent;y, before i even heard dis story a friend of mine stopped havin extensions and attachments on her hair cos she was warned in her dream not to and even when she declined and had it on again she started choking and becomin breathless even prayers didn’t work untill she had it taken out
summarily, whether its true or not , i intend to try and stop having extensions of wateva kind on my hair and even wearin hijabs if possible….lol…. and above all keepin a pure heart and worshipping my God in truth and in spirit…it ain’t gonna be easy but God help us all..

The matter before us is not supposed to be so surprising,it is nothing but the logical culmination of the decadence that has crept into church over the years being catalyzed by so called men and women of God who have forsaken the path of holiness, truth and selflessness. We present day xtians are no different from Achan, Ananias & Saphira, Esau, Judas, who have were consumed with material desires at the expense of the welfare of their souls. We are have become lovers of self as prophesied by Christ would happen just before his coming. Pastors today are nothing but comedians and motivational speakers whose personal lives are completely devoid of the transformation wrought by the power of the Holy Ghost, they are thieves and have perfected the art of defending their spiritual deficiencies and errors with the use of carefully manipulated and intelligent sounding words and phrases. They put on an air of authority so they may command the respect of the congregation, they shout and rant with an assumed confidence so that the flock may feel within them “Yes we have a shepherd, yes we have a leader”. Our pastors in their majority are candidates for the fires of hell. I am not at all suprised by the word from the mouth of baba Obadare in fact it is expected.This is a wake up call, we all should examine our lives for those subtle sins that puff up self and work towards the kingdom of God and strive to accumulate our treasures there and not upon this earth. The bible is clear about this issue,’But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned.’Galatian 1:8(NIV).
let’s examine this ‘gospel’ the bible talks about.
How does one qualify for heaven or hell?
Rom.10:9-10 (NIV)
‘That if you confess with your mouth,”Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved’.
Apostle Paul asked the galatian christian in Galatians 3:2,’Did you receive the spirit by observing the law? and in verse 10 of same chapter said ‘all who rely on observing the law are under a curse’.
Ephesians 1:13-14
And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were MARKED in Him with a SEAL, the promised Holy Spirit- who is the guarranteing of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession- to the praise of His glory.
Ephesians 4:30
And do not grieve the holy Spirit of God, with whom you were SEALED for the DAY OF REDEMPTION.
Now I can go on and on, but the bottomline is this you get born again by accepting Jesus as your Lord and saviour and not by works. you don’t clean up first and come to God. No, you come to God to clean you up. Then according to the scriptures above, everyone born again has been sealed ( like a roman emperor would seal a letter that must not be opened except by the recipient it’s meant for) for the day of redemption.
My aim in life is not to make heaven,-as a born again child of God my going to heaven is guaranteed- but to live out my purpose, God’s purpose for my life. And as a believer, my judgement in heaven is not about condemnation but reward based on how I live out that purpose.
‘the soul that sins shall die’ does not refer to missing the mark but a state of being. that’s why God said ‘in that day (talking about this dispensation) I will give you a new heart…’
So we see that the scripture is very clear about believers and hell. Hebrew 6:4-6 highlighted the conditions that must be fulfilled before a believer could got to hell. Tell me how many believers all over the world have fulfilled the condition hundred percent. probably one percent.
If Pastor Bimbo goes to hell because of mini skirt as claimed (never remember seeing her in mini skirt) then Jesus promise to the thief by his side on the cross was not valid.I’m not saying wearing mini skirt in public is right, but there are more sins committed in thoughts than the ones that’re open to everyone.
If anyone (no matter where he claims to have recieved the revelation) preaches another gospel different from what the bible teaches then let him be eternally condemned

having gone through different comments and opinions on this issue, I will like to say these:

I believe Prophet Obadare to be one of the great man of God in this country (Nigeria), whom I believe could not be messing up with the issue on life and death at this late hour of his life.

If this spiritual experience (call it vision, trance, prophecy, coma, death, or what have u) truly emanated from him, then watch out for this thing:

IF BABA EVENTUALLY DISBAND WOSEM, IN ORDER TO FULFIL THE ONE AND ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR HIM NOT TO GO TO HELL AS THE PART OF THE STORY THAT SAYS
“…. (i should)get back to earth and ensure that I disband my church(WOSEM) and send messages to all leaders of the splinter congregations to re-align themselves with the original congregation founded by Babalola….to demonstrate the gravity of the instructions given to me and to emphasize what would happen to me if I disobeyed I was led to Hell’s Gate”

THEN I WILL ADVISE ANYBODY NOT TO JOKE OR HANDLE WITH LEVITY THE REST OF THE STORY.

Remember in Luke 16:19-31, the rich man said to Father Abraham,

30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE FROM THE DEAD”

GOD’S WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS, GOD’S THOUGHTS ARE NOT OUR THOUGHTS, LIKEWISE HIS JUDGEMENTS ARE NOT OUR JUDGEMENT.
HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS EVERYONE INSIDE OUT.

We are easily carried away by the fate of others. Whether true or false, there is a lesson we must all learn. God is the JUDGE, He is a righteous judge who will give to every man according to his deeds.
Let us examine ourselves and see if we are still in the faith. The end is certain. Let’s correct all our wrong deeds and turn to God alone. The time has come that every believer must have his lamp burning with extra oil for the day of need. Let’s all learn to listen to the voice of God as He speaks to correct and instruct us in the way He wants us to go.
He who is often rebuked and hardens his heart will perish suddenly and that without remedy.
My dear friends, look inwards and correct all wrongs so that you can be accounted to stand blameless b4 the great Judge.
Our opinion is useless before His judgment seat. The question we must strive to answer is that are our names in the book of life?
God help us all to pls Him.

In addition to my above post i would like to, after reading a few of the posts above that it is clearly stated in the scriptures that the yardstick that will be used in the judgement of christians who have assumed a leadership role in the vineyard of the lord is different and stiffer than that which will be used for those who can be considered as the flock. Apostle Paul while making it clear that though everything is permissible not everything is beneficial. Also, he who through the exercise of his faith causes his brother to stumble is guilty of sin. The issue here before us is not about mini skirts per face value or other aspects of the lives of men and women of God, but rather the sensitivity these men and women have shown concerning the spiritual welfare of those entrusted to them vis a vis the freedom exercised in their own private lives. There are a lot of people, young and old whose very lives are shaped for good or no simply by those “trivial” things in the lives of leaders in the vineyard of the Lord and these leaders will surely give account.Jesus be praised.

I understood your analysis very well. However, i quite disagree with some of the things that you wrote. I believed both Baba and Pastor Bimbo are both servant of God, but if the said vision received by Baba is true indeed then it is pathetic. In your analysis you appear to be a little bit emotional and because you are an admirer of the late pastor Bimbo i can understand. In response to your biblical analysis, i want to correct you on a point which you said that it is not biblical if it is true that Pastor Bimbo sent Baba to the congregation. Go and study your Bible very well read from the book of Luk 16:27-31,Richman requested Lazarus be sent to his Father’s house to preach to them.Well, the only thing i have against this whole story being circulated on the web is i would not believe until i hear Baba Obadare on tape or read from his Church. I want to pay our attention to a time in the past when it was going around on the web and text both in Nigeria and abroad that Pastor Adeboye asked us to pray for our loved ones againt disaster, but eventually i learn that Pastor Adeboye responded to it that it wasnot him. Its unfortunate that a message that should warn the careless souls to prepare to meet God has become a subject of discussion in the court of human opinion and analysis. In as much as I don’t hold brief for any one; my position is that Baba Obadare said he saw a vision, there is no one to dispprove that except someone to tell us that God told him that the revelation is not true. So let us examine our lives in the light of eternity for God is no respecter of persons, no matter what you’ve done for God if you live sort of His required standard YOU MAY GO TO HELL. Wether the story is true or not, it has help me to do a double check on my life style. The Bible urges us to check ourseves to see if we are still in the faith. It does not matter how much you preach or how much people idolize you for your annointing. The apostle Paul himself who wrote nearly half of the new testament alone had this to say,” I keep under my body and bring it into subjection, least after i have preach to others that I myself become a cast away” ICorinthians 9:27. Jesus warn, that not all who said to him lord lord shall enter the kingdom of God.Mathew7:21-23.He also advised in Luke 13: 24. “strive to enter”. I will rather get to heaven and am told it was not necessary for me to go the extra mile to be holy than be told “what you took for granted and never give heed to disqualified you”. God is loving but also a consumming fire. He brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and turn around and roast the unfaithful and disobidient in the wilderness. Dont forget the bible says what happend to them is supposed to be for an example to us so we dont fall into the same error.If this story is actually true do you know we have confirmed what Abraham told the rich man in hell?,”Even if some one were to rise from the dead and go to warn then, they would still not believe”

The main issue here is not whether Baba Obadare died, sawPastor Bimbo or not (i can’t make up my mind if its true or not, but i won’t judje or condemn any), but it should be about we still living, and how we are living our lives. Lets say for the sake of argument, that the story is not true, but do we have to wait for the true story to come before we reacesss ourselves and make things right, NO. Like many of you all have said “God is no respecter of anybody”. Now for another argument that this story is true, well i will believe this is God’s way of letting us know that is coming is near, and we should put our act together. There are many men and women of God out there preaching the word of God, and we still find it hard to believe and repent, and if God decides to give babe another chance so he can come back to warn hois people, then who are we to question his action or condemn whoever he decides to use. And if this story is not true, but a made up story by some journalist who is trying to make money, then May God forgive you all. Even Thomas who lived with Jesus doubted His resurection, so why will i be suprised about the so many doubtful comments here and above, it will take so many souls to end up in Hell to find out that God has a standard and if you fall short of this standard you’ll have yourself to blame.
I have heard so much about Bimbo Odukoya, i enjoy her ministry of building happy marriages/homes and i have heard about baba Obadare too, the question is what was Gods opinion about the ministry of these people, from the vision there was nothing suggesting that she preached a wrong message but something vital has been mentioned, something that is fast declining in christiandom…..the outward appearance, so called christians are quick to say “your outward appearance does not matter, God looks inward” forgeting that all that is exhibited in the outward is from within.
I think God is sending out a warning on this declining generation, we all have a choice to either take it or leave it, who know if God had spoken in like manner to Bimbo about this before she passed out, am not taking side but i strongly believe we should all just take time and consider our ways, search the scriptures, pray and find out the mind of God on this issue and set things straight, don’t forget the old man also spoke about breaking the church , lets look around is that not the case all over the place,,,,,hmmmm please dont leave it out to find out too late,if you are interested about heaven, THINK.

I have read a lot about people’s responses to the vision by Prophet Obadare. Some of the responses are quite shocking! Some of the views of people still confirm the scripture that says “And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead”. This is not the first time believers are caught into heaven whether in trance or vision. My candid advice is that we should not border with where Pastor Bimbo is (heaven or hell). We should focus on our lives. It is wrong to start defending the dead just as many of us is doing. Let the dead defend themselves. “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God ” Rom 14:12. The major message in the revelation by Prophet Obadare is that it takes holiness to make heaven. This cannot be attainined without fully surrendering to Christ. Mt 7:23 says “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity”. We all should be careful in our private lives, because the true you is discovered when you are left alone. May God count us worthy.

If Prophet Obadare with all the exploits he had done for Christ found it difficult to enter heaven at first attempt, we all need to take our relationships with Christ very seriously. We should be able to pray that “Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes” Song 2 :15. Those foxes are going to kill us eternally if do not deal with them now.

I do not know the source of the story, but one thing I know for sure is that everyone shall be judge for every idle word that one speaks. I am seeing this vision by Prophet Obadare for the first time. The first question is ‘did he see what he said he saw’? Could he be telling lies? What gain will he be looking for by telling lies?
Most likely he narrated just what he saw especially since he himself would have been in hell by now if he have not come back.
The first lesson is that God is not a respecter of person.
Secondly no man will make heaven by whatever good deeds he/she may do either ‘for’ God or humanity. By grace are you saved and not of works lest any man should boast.
The revelation of the new testament is that the works of our hands could make us to lose the priviledge of getting to heaven at last. Remember the parable of the ten virgins told by Jesus Christ. Also remember Jesus said many will say to me in the last day Lord we did this and that in your name, but I will say I never knew you!
Many pastors and Reverends may look righteous and Godly to men but God is the one that have the perfect knowledge of everyman’s heart and life.
If truly Bimbo Odukoya went to hell (or miss heaven) because of her outward appearance, then it is important that believers look carefully into their hearts before they dress as they like. A believer should refused to accept any opinion from any ‘man of God’ that teaches them that how they dress is irrelevant especially if their conscience is saying otherwise.
What role do jewelries, make up and those adornment play in our relationship with God. These things don’t make the users more acceptable to God but rather they have the tendencies to draw people’s heart towards wordliness and thereby loving this world contrary to God’s word.
To those who are having reason(s) to dispute the vision of Prophet Obadare, they should continue in whichever way they are living-they will confirm whether they are true or not when they too draw their last breath.
They should reserve their questions to when they too will face the Almighty God and if possible appeal against His judgement to the Supreme court in America or CAN, PFN etc????.

yes Heb 9:27 man dies once. but who confirms death? doctor or God? there have been stories of pple who died and came back to life. as for the position of the mansion, whatever the Lord wants you to see you will see.
Bible standard for dressing is MODESTY. I cannot judge Bimbo, she touched many souls but that alone is not the conditions for making heaven. if you read through matt 7:21-23, the pple being referred to are ministers of God who touched pple. the standard of God will not change if you wilfully disobeys in one area you are likely to loose the whole. while I dont have the write to agree or disagree whether Bimbo is in hell I can say that i did not consider her dressing and make-ups as modest. But God is the final and only judge

If there is the need and urgency to get answers, why can’t we just ask God in our private closets about : e.g where Pastor Bimbo really is, whether Baba actually saw this or that…etc? The scripture is true when Abraham in heaven told the rich man that even if a dead man rose from heaven to go & warn his (rich man’s) family, they ll not believe since they didnt believe Moses & the Prophets. Baba claimed he was taken to heaven’s gate, right? Read the scripture very well, when a righteous man dies he doesn’t go to heaven. He goes to PARADISE, a waiting room(Bibilical refernce unavailable at the moment but scriptural). Probably at a covenient time, Baba would have to tell the public the vision he saw in a better light. I know in heaven there shall be many surprises and if this is one of them its expected “God is not a respecter of Person” Psalm 9 vs 17. “The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.” If all nation can be turned to hell what of one person. If Moses can be denied of getting to the promise land with all his achievement and God’s testimony about him, so who are we. It is better for us to listen to the voice of reason if truly we heaven in our focus instead of debating the authenticity of the information. else we have ourself to blame at the end of life.

I recomend a book by cho thomas “Heaven is so real.This book will change our view of who will make it to heaven or not. Mark 10:17-31 says it all.After Jesus told a man what it required to get to Heaven ,Peter asked ,who then can be saved?.Jesus replied, to man ,it is impossible ,but with God ,all things are possible.Only God can help us to get to heaven not our popularity , fame, tittle or position in the kingdom of God.Did you realise it took one anger of disobedience for Moses to fofeit the promise land he worked for for 40 years even though he prayed for God to have mercy on him?. After many years of faithful service to God who will have thought that Moses the meekest man on earth will miss the promise land?.Oh you say that is old testament ?The 7 letters to 7 churches in the book of Revelation is from Jesus telling 6 out of 7 churches He is disappointed with them.If Jesus were to write a letter to you or your church,you will be shocked what Jesus will have to say.Let us pray and watch and listen to the Holy Spirit cos if GOD tells you to drop something like he told the young man in the book of mark 10 to go and sell everything he had and you don’t obey probably because you think you have arrived or once saved you are forever saved a doctrine from Hell, you will be disappointed on the last day.May be God has been warning this wonderful woman of God which i know and loved to listen to about these things and how she needed to warn her listners but she refused perhaps because of fear of people that will leave her ministry, then the people became an idol to her and no idol worshipper will enter the kingdom of God.I am not saying she deserve to go to hell neither am i saying this is what happen but if this revelation is true and we know God is righteous and holy ,He who does not make mistake,is there not a cause?This is an admonition for you and me upon whom the end of the world has come.Repent and be converted , let us rededicate our lives to Jesus and make Him our LORD and SAVIOUR.Shalom

The Bible says that we are saved (rescued) by His Grace & His Grace alone. But in order for us to be a recipient of that Grace of God we are informed by Jesus the following.

Mark 1:15 – and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

He also gave us warnings about people who will choose not to repent in His words in the following passages (As you read them, keep in mind that this is the LORD JESUS himself warning us)

Luke 13:1-5 – There were present at that season some who told Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 2 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things? 3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. 4 Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? 5 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”

Also

Luke 13:24-27 – Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. 25 When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ 26 then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ 27 But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’

Other warnings were also issued to us professing christians in the word of God. Somer of which include but are not limited to the following:

Hebrews 10:26-7 – For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

And

2 Peter 3:15-16 – and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

So my brother, while we read & apply scriptures in our lives we should be careful not to misinterpret the word of God. We can not form our doctrine especially something as important as the doctrine of salvation (Heaven and Hell) based on some part of the scriptures while ignoring other parts.
Just like Apostle Paul in his valedictory message to the elders of the church at Ephesus said the he did not avoid to declare the “WHOLE COUNSEL” of GOD to them. And what was this “whole counsel”? He stated it earlier in his message that it was Faith (absolute trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ & Repentance towards God (turning from sin to God). Read Acts 20:20-28.

As for this “revelation” from Papa Obadare, I don’t know if it is true or false. I personally don’t know Pastor Bimbo or seen her likeness on TV or anywhere. So, I don’t know how she dressesor her lifestyle. I know that God knows her, her lifestyle and what was in her heart. As one preacher used to say “God’s flaming peircing eyes peirces through what man can not see.”
As for me, whether true or false I take this as a warning that I need to always live my live in a way that pleases God. Basically I must repent of all the things in my life that He has commanded me to repent of now, not later.

I hope everyone takes this “revelation” the same way.

When I heard this story, I was first troubled in my heart over thinking that Pastor Bimbo might be in torment and that many people I think saved might actually not be (including myself). This is because I thought the story had a 50% chance of being true. But now, I think the chance of it being true is less than 5%. Just like in 2Thessalonians 2:1-2, it is probably a false story. I gave it a slim chance of being true because the prophet hasn’t come out to publicly refute the story, like Apostle Paul did in quoted scripture.

However, whenever Prophet Obadare’s health improves if he comes out and confirm the rumors, I will place the probability of it being true at 90%. This is because anyone could be in Hell. This includes even Apostle Paul who was a great giant of the Faith and a man with an enduring legacy. Just read Ezekiel 3:20-21 & 1 Corinthians 9:26-7.

I think whoever published the story, without having appropriate confirmation, should be ashamed of himself because he didn’t consider the grief that such an accusation can cause the family of the woman. Such a person is either an over zealous so-called Christian or an agent of the Devil. The person who did this forgot that God warned us in Rev 21:8 that all liars will have their part in the lake of Fire & Brimstone. By saying ALL LIARS, God did not exclude the well meaning ones. Let me say, this person don’t need to be worried about Pastor Bimbo’s (God bless her soul & Family) destiny, but their own. However, God is full of mercy, If he will place his faith in Jesus, repent & make restitution, God will forgive him.

The comment of the husband and what other people told me about the Pastor’s mode of dressing makes me want to believe that I believed and have passed on a lie. Therefore, I have to register my apologies to the family & especially to GOD her savior for this error. I did this contrary to my better judgement, because God commands us to not be tale bearers & I have also been thought never to pass on a “revelation” unless God reconfirms it to me. If I am wrong & the story is true, may God forgive me.

One good thing about the story is that it has caused me to seek purity in my thoughts & the ability to easily forgive people. Imagine what God will do to a man who lusts & finds it hard to forgive, if he cast a woman into hell for her mode of dressing.

Finally, whether this story is true or false (probably false) we should remember that the word of God admonishes us to live our lives as strangers & pilgrims, who are constantly awaiting JESUS our savior. So, we should seek the help of GOD to rid ourselves of all worldliness & sinfulness (Philippians 3:20-21, Titus 2:11-14, Hebrews 11:13-6, 2Peter 3:10-13).

Sequel to some recent publications that Prophet Timothy Obadare died, resurrected and saw the late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in hell, the publicity committee of The World Soul Evangelistic Ministry (WOSEM) has dragged the publishers of News Of The People and Global Excellence to the Nigerian Press Council.

In a petition signed by the Chairman, Publicity Committee of the ministry, Pastor Jimmy Olufemi Alabi noted that several persons across the globe have been misled by these fabricated publications.

His words, “several persons who believe in the calling of Prophet Obadare including pastors from C.A.C and other churches have been grossly misled by these cruel publications made by these persons to the effect that Prophet Obadare died, resurrected and that he saw late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya in hell. Also that he, Obadare himself was rejected by the Lord Jesus and asked to return for restitution.”

According to Alabi, “Prophet Obadare would have wished to only commit the perpetrators of this evil to the hands of God, in line with the incidences recorded in Acts 9: 1-9 or 2 Kings 2: 23 – 24 as Jehovah may deem appropriate. However, for the strong character assassination import of the publications especially on Prophet Obadare, his church, C.A.C, his ministry WOSEM, the late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, her family and the church of God, WOSEM has therefore requested the media regulatory agency to investigate the two publications, their editors, and others to unravel the motives or intentions of the promoters of these false stories.
Apart from demading for refutal and apologies in major news organizations, Alabi said, WOSEM also wants the Nigerian Press Council to impose stringent sanctions that would help secure the image of reputable Nigerians from the hands of charlatans and crooks in journalism practice.

“If those editors cannot prove that the stories and their insinuations are true, they should make public apology and cause same to be published in their papers, five major National daily newspapers and major electronic Media including Radio Nigeria Network, Radio Oyo, OSRC and NTA News Line, LTV, Channels, OSBC, STV and AIT,” the cleric said. Also, “as a deterrent, they should be made to make a refund of all monies spent on image repair by parties injured since the damaging stories broke.

Having seriously destroyed the age-long reputation, ministry and labour of Prophet Obadare, they should be made to refund all monies spent on 35 years of ministration on radio stations, TV stations– LTV8, NTA, OSRC, Stadia (National Stadium, TBS, Liberty Stadium, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Agege Stadium, Evans Square, Ajele Square, etc) nationwide and other logistics estimated at an average annual budget of N10 million totaling N350 million,” Alabi stated.

Founder of the World Soul-Winning Evangelistic Ministries (WOSEM), Prophet T.O Obadare, has described as a total lie, his rumoured death for three days and his alleged comment on the late Pastor Mrs. Bimbo Odukoya of The Fountain of Life Church, which is based in Lagos.

The 81-year-old man of God, who spoke through Ladi Thompson, Senior Pastor, Living Waters Unlimited, who met him in the United States of America, also invoked the wrath of God on those behind the “satanic” rumour.

For days now, the entire Christendom has been rudely rattled with the rumour contained in a junk publication, alleging that Prophet Obadare, who could not make heaven as alleged, woke from the dead after three days during which he reportedly saw Pastor Bimbo in hell because she was wearing mini skirts while on earth.

“Worried at the rate at which the shocking rumour was spreading and its deleterious impact on the body of Christ, I travelled to Baltimore, USA, to see Prophet Obadare for his comments on the matter. I met him sitting down, wearing a simple and trousers. He also had his traditional dark glasses on. Quite interestingly, he said he did not think that such nonsense should be dignified with an answer; therefore, he provoked the wrath of God on those behind the unfounded satanic lies,” said Pastor Thompson who handed over to The Nation, a copy of the CD containing his encounter with the man, his wife and son, Pasto Paul Obadare. The CD is entitled, Signs of the Times.

Prophet Obadare, according to Pastor Thompson, vehemently denied ever knowing both Pastor Bimbo and her husband, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya from Adam, let alone speak such nonsense about him, adding that the Prophet was full of sympathy and prayers for Pastor Taiwo Odukoya.

Mrs. Obadare, who spoke at length on the matter said: “The rumour of my husband’s death shocked every one of us, including Baba (Prophet Obadare). As you can see, he never died. It is mere fabrication. My husband and I never met or knew both Pastor and Mrs. Odukoya. Pastor Odukoya should have known that my husband could not have said that rubbish about his wife because his concern has always been the kingdom of God. Those behind all these want to spoil Christianity and the entire body of Christ; they must not be allowed to have their way.”

The woman, who sought forgiveness and a change of heart for those behind the wicked rumour through fervent prayers, advised that rather than maligning others, people must work towards seeking the kingdom of God.”

Pastor Paul Obadare, who is the General Overseer of WOSEM and who also expressed his shock over the matter, said that the family did not take it seriously initially because he knew that his father would never attack his fellow minister of God.

“It is a pure lie which has no basis. And to a large extent, I see it as a distraction which was intended to do an incalculable harm to the body of Christ. My father never died; he has been enjoying his privacy here because we felt that having worked for so long a time, he deserved a good rest. That is why we are very protective of his privacy,” he explained.

On why he took it upon himself to visit the prophet in the US, Pastor Thompson explained: “I am a member of the Christendom that was being negatively affected by the situation which I felt, was fast getting out of hand. At the point when I decided to travel to meet Prophet Obadare, it had come to a stage where any man of conscience, especially in the Christian family must be involved in the urgent process of laying the matter to a rest.

“Settling down over there, I first spoke with Pastor Paul Obadare, who expressed his worry over the whole issue about the rumour, which he described as very shocking, embarrassing and utterly irresponsible. He did all he could to convince me that his father never died at any point in time, adding that the rumour of his father’s comment of the late Pastor Bimbo was an unfounded falsehood.”

However, Pastor Thompson was not satisfied. He spoke with the old Prophet’s equally perturbed wife who also seethed with worries and disappointment over the whole saga to the extent of lamenting what has become of the Christendom.

Hear Pastor Thompson further on his encounter with the veteran preacher: “I insisted on seeing Prophet Obadare and having him utters even a word on the matter. Eventually, my prayer got answered and I met the man who, for some time now, had been kept in privacy to allow him rest after decades of landmark evangelism. We exchanged pleasantries and before I knew it, he had dozed off where he was sitting quietly.

“Again, he shifted his head and greeted me again. Then I seized the opportunity to ask for his comment over the controversy. Apparently, to him, it was nothing worth commenting about as according to him, he never died, never met or knew the Odukoyas all his life, let alone making such a ‘nonsensical’ comment on the late woman. He dug into the Scripture and provoked the wrath of God on the very source of the development. Afterwards, I sought his prayers and he readily obliged me to close the encounter.”

Every contributor has done great justice to the article in their contribution. The most important thing is that every one should search him/herself and make sure he/she lives in total obedience to the word of God since, like some of you rightly contributed, God is no respecter of any one and no one is to small, unpopular or unloved to go to heaven as long as the person truly surrenders his/her life to Jesus by faith and lives in obedience to God’s word, no matter how despised by men. Equally, no one is too big or famous/popular or too loved and esteemed to go to Hell if the person decides to, reject the person of Christ Jesus, claimed to have accepted Jesus Christ but took the word of God with laxity and disobedience.

No one is rejected by God, if saved by Grace and lives a holy no matter how unlearned and unpresentable in the side of men or how unpopular his messages of Christianity. No one’s position and level of acceptance by men is too big to be in hell even if people see him/her as the best.

Whether this story is true is not material but that we should libe in total obedience by grace.

What I see however, is that, even if the story were true, what benefit would it have been to read and know that such and such a person is in hell. Does that breed edification or division. I think it rather breeds division and does not help those outside the folk to understand Christianity. While I have the personal oppinion that the story is not true (God forgive me if I am wrong), I think it calls for sober reflection. Any one can go to Hell, Any one can go to Heaven. It is a matter of choice of who to obey.

If Baba has not said any thing of such as confirmed,then those news agent or papers should be forced under the law to make a correct.Our society should be made rumour free,it is until then we can reasonable progress.Every information should be confirmed before being published and if there is any error in such information,a correction should be a must under the law. We suffer alot in our community because of all this kind of informations.It is a total abuse of the media and it’s the evil worm destroying Nigeria politics.

This is a very sensitive issue.Let everyone be careful in what he/she says.If Pst.Bimbo is in hell or heaven, it’s irrivocable.God did not commission anyone to judge any of His servants.My advice at this point is that everyone of us should run the race set before us with all deligence. At the end of it all we shall no the true story when the roll is called up younder
